From March 2-4, 2020, the „Fifth Southern German Tick Congress“ will take place at University of Hohenheim.

This congress will address diverse topics like

  • biology, morphology, physiology and ecology of ticks,
  • tick control strategies
  • tick borne diseases of human and veterinary interest (e.g. Rickettsia, Anaplasma, Ehrlichia, Babesia, Coxiella, Borrelia, Francisella and viruses e.g. TBE virus

Especially young scientists are invited to present their first contributions, and these presentations will be awarded. In addition to lectures, posters will be presented. The congress language is German; however, contributions held in English are also welcome. Deadline for lectures and posters is February 15, 2020.

On the home page http://zeckenkongress.de scientists can register (deadline is January 20, 2020) and can find several hotels close to the University campus.
