TBE microfoci have been identified by a seroepidemiological study of human sera and sera from animals (horse, wild boars, cattle, roe deer and dogs) and detection of TBE virus in ticks in the autonomous province of Vojvodina and near Belgrade. TBE virus isolates belong to the Western European subtype. This is the first positive TBE virus detection in Serbia since 1972.<\/p>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
