Of 3029 cases with known outcome, 16 died from TBE (case fatality rate: 0.5%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notification rate was highest in Lithuania (24.3 cases per 100,000 population), followed by Slovenia (8.9) and Czechia (7.9).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The EU\/EEA notification rate of 0.9 per 100,000 population for 2020 represents a further increase compared to previous years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">94.7% of the confirmed cases were reported as not vaccinated against TBE.
